Denholm via Ruberslaw Walking Route

This is a point to point walking route to Denholm via Ruberslaw.

This route to starts at the Common Haugh in Hawick and finishes at the picturesque village of Denholm.

It leaves Hawick by heading up the Wellogate towards Kaimend then heads to Adderstonelee moss and Birneyknowe.

Crossing the A6088 at Bonchester heights the route has a steep climb to the top of Ruberslaw. The hill is on the border between the historic parishes of Cavers and Hobkirk. 

The route then follows a pleasant walk down to Denholm, where there are pubs and restaurants. It is also possible to get the number 20 bus back to Hawick.

This route to Denholm consists of Minor roads, tracks and open hills.
